The Penicillin is a delicious, smoky whiskey cocktail that combines the flavors of blended Scotch with fresh lemon juice and honey. It's a warm and comforting drink, perfect for sipping.
Ingredients
50 ml of Blended Scotch Whisky
25 ml of Fresh Lemon Juice
15 ml of Honey Syrup (1:1 honey and water)
10 ml of Islay Scotch
Instructions
1. In a shaker, combine the blended Scotch whisky, fresh lemon juice, and honey syrup.
2. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.
3. Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
4. Gently float the Islay Scotch on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon.
5. Garnish with a lemon wheel or a piece of candied ginger, if desired.
